I care about you DJ

I met someone new today, through Sjoerd, her name is Annisa and she has a blog too which you can find here.

I am back from work again, and sort of happy to be.
Tomorrow I will go to Amsterdam in the afternoon... See DJ... again... my boyfriend. lol
I am going to Amsterdam to see my boyfriend.
I even told my sister today, so now the world can know.
I am not "single, not looking" any more. I am in a relationship.

Jolanda is finally gone from work. I took great percautions so that she would not sit with me on the boat.
I saught out a face i knew and tried to remember a name with it when i asked Jeroen if i could buy him a hot coco. Then the seat beside me on the boat would be filled and she would have to sit somehwere else with her dopy parents.
Then of course they just HAD TO take the table next to where Jeroen and I were sitting. *doh* I should have seen that one coming.
I REALLY hope that she will not get the job at "de halte" that she applied for, then she will be back and with a vengance as they say in the movies.

This was a busy week.
Natalia and i were having a byebye party since she was going to her mother in Lettland for a week and a half. I got more aquainted with the boys from the kitchen and even shared a few sexistic jokes with Marc. He is a sweet kid.
Sunday we had a byebye party for Jolanda in the boathouse. Hettie the boss was there, and her number two Marianne. Femke and Tineke, and me. Jolanda was of course not invited ;-)
It was nice.

I feel accepted and even liked at work. No more hessitant about who to talk to and who will talk what i say further.
Basicly the only person i talk on a personal level with is Natalia. The other ones will turn it all into gossip, and if you really want everyone to know something, then you tell it to another girl at work.... Maybe this is silly, but i still feel a need for my high walls, and even though the heavy doors and not locked they are still closed.

I didnt talk to a sertain someone for a long while now.
I wont say anything else about it now, since the one that matter know this addy, and will read it.
I will just add that the ball is in your court friend.

And Didier... cant wait to see you tomorrow. I am so happy you are home safetly from 'over there'.
Hug Chelsea from me. Want to meet her one day as well.

Jenny, I know you dont read this since I havent given you the addy, but i love you, even though we dont know each other that well. I am happy you found my msn, and that you took initiative to send me a message. I've been waiting and hoping for it for years.
That augh to teach everyone that just keep the channels open and you will get your reward sooner or later.

Time to bring mum and Yohannes to town and spoil them a little.

Happy Valentines Day!

I hope your day is full of joy and happiness. Someone cares about you and is thinking about you, even if you are feeling a little lonely.
Let that special someone know you care. Let that not special one know as well. This is a day for every boy and girl, man and woman.

Didier, my thoughts go out to you. I miss you and long to see you soon.

Be yourself.
Especially, do not feighn affection.
Neither be cynical about love,
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
It is as perennial as the grass.

Here is a nice one...

Daoine Sidhe - Galeries Heroic-Fantasy
This is pictured made by Boris Vallejo, and they are oh so beautiful. My uncle Robin showed me the first few pictures, and I loved them, and the other day I found a whole gallery online!

Things are going great.
I am sorry for not writing more often, but work is taking up a lot of time, and I am happy to say that I know a guy who is very time consuming as well. Not that I am complaining, no, far from it.

Spent the night at SAS Raddisson in Amsterdam together with this certain someone last week tuesday, and had a great time. Before that he visited me at home, and even me mum didnt mind him all too much ;-)
But, as they say, hurry slowly.
There is a lot to take into consideration, and the distance can be a bitch as well. If anything is meant to be it will be, othervice I have a new friend, and a very good one at that.

Karel is having a good time in Singapore, or so it seems. I didnt have time to check his and Sjoerds blog a lot, but from what I hear everything is ok. I am very pleased about that, but always the reminder, be patient, rome was not built ina day, and neither are new friendships and connections. Two weeks is a very short time. I spent the better part of a half year before I had friends that I dared to take a walk with in the evening. (Yeah, so sure, I was living in the worst part of Amsterdam, but never the less.... ;-) )

I shall try to write again later tonight, but many hugs and kisses to all my friends and cherished ones...

(dont ask.... hahahah)

By the way, meet Henry and mousie... my new bedmates!

My day in Breda

I realized sitting down in a cafe after three hours shopping that it was getting closer to three o'clock and meeting Karel. My phone was beeping and I thought it was an SMS but in fact it was the power failing. I hurried to send the message but the phone shut down before it was sent.
I was running around Breda for 20 minutes and didnt find one single payphone! Then I realized I should take my card out of my phone and try tp put it in someone elses phone but the cause seemed invain since no one I asked "had a phone". I turned to desperate measures and went into a phone shop!
I picked the one chain I bought my phone from and told him my problem, so I put my card in a brand new siemens only to realize that numbers are stored in the phone and not on the SIM card. I was prepared to go home to Friesland without meeting Karel when the brand new siemens started to ring, and guess who it was.
Apparently he had recieved the SMS but only a part of it so he had left his meeting early and was now at the baroness where I had written my message.
Talk about little lady luck, with a bit of resourse ;-)

We played pool, I won 2 out of 6 but I think we decided I had won. :-9
In the usual female vanity I wanted to look good and not comfortable, (and I had some issues with him being so tall) so I took heels, something I regreted when we walked around town.
Then we ate in an Italian restaurant with a terrible waitress. But at least it was good food.

We walked back to the station and I of course forgot to call my mum from his phone.
So on the train I realized this misstake and got out my SIM card again. I had to ask 12 people who all had one excuse or another (mostly drawn out of thin air) before I could lend someones phone.
She was a bit older then my mum, maybe 48 or so, and had a daughter of her own, so I guess she could understand.

The train got delayed ten minutes along the way and I missed my connection, and hence missed the buss. Mum was prepared to let me walk home from the train just to teach a lesson to the NS, but I really hope she was joking about that.
I went home, talked a bit on the phone with Karel as to get a closeure of the day and date and then I crashed only to wake up late for getting Yohannes to school!
Then I crashed again. ;-)

Merry Christmas

Another day another sorrow they say.

I dont feel any sorrow right now though, just heavy eyelids.

Had great dinner today, but I didnt eat much. Last year I ate the most of us all, and this year the least.
On the christmas table we had sausages of three kinds, chicken, meatballs, meatsallad, potatosallad, ovenbaked potato dish with some stinky fish, boiled potatoes, red beat sallad, eggs, thin slices of meat from reindeer... hmm... And some things I dont even know the english translation of.

Karel asked me how many was over for dinner, and was a bit quiet when I replied.... 5 :P
But it was nice...

I got a package with the post today.
Inside was a really cute ying-yang necklace and a pocket guardian.
If I didnt know who had their bed in that city I would really wonder who it was from, since the only person I care to know in the south of Holland lives in Breda. ;-)
Almost thought I had a secret admirer there :P

Before I go to bed I will write down a verse from the explaining thing for the pocket gardian...

"In the light og the new dawn,
and in the light of the new day,
your angel will guide you,
in all that you do and say."
